Officials in Knox County have been investigating the former home of the Roane County couple charged with abusing their children and burying one daughter in the backyard. WVLT reports that 63-year-old Michael Anthony Gray, Sr. and his wife, 60-year-old Shirley Gray, used to live in the Halls neighborhood about 3 or 4 years ago. That home is now occupied by their son, Michael Anthony Gray, Jr. Officials have been digging in the backyard of the Halls home and neighbors told WVLT they saw something being loaded into the coroner?s vehicle. Computers, boxes and other items have also been taken from the home. Authorities from Knox and Roane County have been working together on this case and confirm it remains an active investigation.
