Revenue for the City of Crossville from sales tax remained strong for March 2020. The city received almost $720,000, once again outpacing the same period from previous years, however, officials are fearing a significant drop when the numbers for April arrive. For the fiscal year, the city has collected $7.89 million in sales tax. Preliminary numbers for April, the month is expected to be most impacted by safer at home orders, are expected in mid-June.
