According to the Cumberland County Sheriff?s Office Deputies were dispatched to the Greenwave Gas Station Westel Rd. for a male subject crawling in the parking lot. When Deputies arrived on the scene they discovered 37 year old James Robert Lee, of Ladson South Carolina, behind the dumpster. Mr. Lee was staring at the sky and appeared to be talking but making no sound and appeared to be under the influence of narcotics. When attempting to detain Mr. Lee he pulled away and attempted to flee and began to physically resist. After a brief struggle James Lee was taken into custody. Deputies found a baggie with a crystal like substance believed to be methamphetamine. Lee then became unresponsive and collapsed. EMS was notified and did respond. James then woke up and admitted to swallowing 2 Grams of Methamphetamine. James Robert Lee was arrested and charged with Manufacturing, Deliver, Sell, or Possession of Meth, Resisting Arrest, and Public Intoxication.
