Crossville Firefighters were called to a structure blaze in the 700 block of Genesis Road a little before 3:30am Thursday, October 1, 2020. Chief Chris South says the abandoned house near Wayne Avenue was fully involved and had partially collapsed by the time firefighters were notified. No one is believed to have lived in the home for more than a decade and the property was badly overgrown. Arson is suspected and the house completely burned to the ground. No injuries were reported.
