A driver was injured and charged in an accident on Genesis Road Thursday afternoon. According to Trooper Chris Bennett, just before 3pm, 50-year-old Silvia Pilar Aguilar, of Crossville, was attempting to pull out onto Genesis Road from Eldridge Loop when her Ford F-350 struck the right front side of a Ford Ranger that was traveling South on Genesis. The driver of the Ranger, 20-year-old John Nestle, of Lancing, Tennessee was not injured. Ms. Aguilar sustained minor injuries and was taken by family members to Cumberland Medical Center. She was charged with failure to exercise due care, failure to yield and no drivers license.
