The last day to register to vote in the November election is Monday, October 5, 2020. Pursuant to the September 9, 2020 Order of the U.S. District Court, first-time voters are not required to vote in-person if they meet a legal reason to vote by-mail. Tennessee voters should start requesting absentee ballots NOW for the November election. The deadline to request by-mail ballots is October 27. In-person early voting begins October 14.
