The Mayor of Manchester, Tennessee, Lonnie Norman, has died from COVID-19. Mayor Norman passed away early Monday morning (10/12/2020) after being hospitalized with the deadly virus on October 1. In August, Mayor Norman was elected to his third term in office, which was set to expire in 2024. Mayor Lonnie Norman was 79. As of Monday, October 12, 2020, Coffee County had recorded 17 official deaths to COVID-19.
