The Tennessee Department of Health’s main telephone number has been spoofed. As a reminder, the Department of Health does not ask for specific financial or insurance information over the telephone. Never give out personal, medical or financial information to a stranger over the phone. Anyone with questions or concerns should contact his or her local law enforcement agency. Anyone who may have been the victim of a scam of such a scam is urged to report what happened to federal or state agencies.
