A benefit for Cumberland County Sheriff’s Deputy Greg Green will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at the Community Complex in Crossville. Deputy Green fell from a ladder on October 7 and broke his neck. He has had surgery but presently remains paralyzed from the chest down. The benefit on Saturday, November 21 will begin with a 5K Run/Walk with SWAT. Entry fee is $30 and includes a T-shirt. The Chili Contest starts at 10:30 a.m. and entry fee is $50. At 11am enjoy a Chili or BBQ Lunch for just $10. The Silent & Live Auction begins at 1 p.m. To donate auction items or register for events call the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office from 7am to 3 pm at 931-484-6176 and speak with Chief Jerry Jackson or Debbie Sherrill.
