A Crossville woman was arrested Thursday (10/22/2020) after she allegedly stole a vehicle belonging to a man who delivers newspapers. Crossville Police report that the victim was stopped at the Exxon on Peavine Road when an unknown female entered his vehicle and drove off and headed west on I-40. Cookeville Police were notified and located the car with the driver, 27-year-old Nekia M. Watson, on westbound I-40 at the 290 mile marker. Ms Watson was arrested and transported back to Cumberland County. The victim went to the traffic stop scene and his vehicle was released back to him.
