The Sequatchie County Sheriff’s office reports that a violent convicted felon was arrested after a search of his residence turned up drug paraphernalia, pills, a loaded pistol and a pipe bomb with a fuse. Thomas Painter was taken to the Sequatchie County Jail for booking. Mr. Painter’s charges include: Possession of Explosives components, Unlawful Possession of a Prohibited Weapon, Unlawful Possession of a Prohibited Weapon by a Felon, Drug Paraphernalia, Legend Drug, and Possession of a firearm During Commission of a Felony. He has a November 30th General Session Court date. The investigation is ongoing and further charges are pending on other subjects.
