The Tennessee Lady Volunteers held their season opener Saturday against the Wester Kentucky Lady Toppers. Leading scoring for the Lady Vols was Rae Burrell with 18 points and 11 Rebounds. Three other Lady Vols were able to score 10 or more points Marta Suarez (11 Points), Rennia Davis (10 Points), and Jordan Walker (13 Points). Coach Kellie Harper lead her Volunteers to a win of 87-47 over Western Kentucky. The next time the Lady Volunteers will see the court will be Tuesday December 1st against East Tennessee State at 6:00 PM.
