Crossville Man Victim in Burglary

According to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office a Crossville man reported one afternoon he left to go to a doctors appointment and left the front door unlocked because he nieces were in their bedrooms of his residence. The victim stated that he left around 1:00 PM and when he returned around 2:00 PM he reports that someone had entered his residence and stole an unknown brand 38 revolver pistol out of the night stand along with a pocket knife collection, and his and his deceased wife’s wedding ring. The Victim states that his neighbor has a surveillance system and the video showed a Gray SUV style car go down the driveway stay for approximately seven minuets and then leave. The victim did state a possible suspect in the burglary. The total amount of the stolen items is approximately $2,901.
