Former SMHS Lady Panther Basketball player was a leading scorer against the Auburn Tigers. Emma Capps, who was apart of the 2020 graduating class for Crossville’s Stone Memorial High School, is a Freshman for the Gardner-Webb Lady Bulldogs. GWU traveled to the plains to play the, SEC team, Auburn Tigers. The Bulldogs fell to Auburn with a score of 97-61 however, Capps was able to record 12 points and 7 rebounds. Emma Capps was the second leading scorer for the Bulldogs. Capps still holds the record for the All-Time Leading Scorer for the Stone Memorial Lady Panthers with 1,469 Points.
