Crossville City Manager Greg Wood reporting to council on Tuesday, says sales tax continues to hold steady. Collections were up from last year at the same time by almost $60,000. The actual total collected in September was almost $780,000. For the year to date the fiscal year total stands at $3.8 million. Beer tax revenue was up by almost 17 percent over last year, while liquor income dropped from the previous year.
