Local Law Enforcement Agencies will be partnering with the Tennessee Highway Safety Office (THSO) to increase impaired-driving enforcement from December 18, 2020, to January 1, 2021, surrounding the holiday season. The THSO’s statewide Booze It and Lose It campaign is part of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over nationwide mobilization. Local agencies will be increasing their efforts to decrease the impaired drivers along the roadways with extra saturation patrols along with checkpoints on the roadways. Drivers are encouraged to make good decisions during the holiday season and enjoy time with family and friends.
