Over a dozen people have been arrested in a major drug sting in Putnam County. Sheriff Eddie Farris announced Thursday that following months of leads, surveillance and investigation, the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office launched a countywide inter-agency operation called "Tis the Season", which resulted in 26 grand jury indictments and the arrest of 14 individuals on multiple drug charges. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information about illegal drug activity is encouraged to call the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office.
