Sales Tax Collections For Cumberland County Remain Strong Despite Pandemic

Cumberland County reports sales tax collections are above projections. County Finance Director Nathan Brock reports that $3.9 million has been collected for the year to date, about $335,000 above budget projections. Property tax collections down slightly by about 3 percent. According to the financial report for the Cumberland County, property tax collections are at 22.1 percent of budget compared to 25.4 percent for the same time last year.
