Tennessee’s online sports betting program, which was just launched last month, garnered over $131 million in wagers for November and generated nearly $2.4 million in tax revenue. Eighty percent of the tax revenue collected goes into an education account. Fifteen percent goes into the state’s General Fund and 5% goes to the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse to treat gambling problems. The Tennessee Lottery reports that sportsbooks payed out more than $118 million in November.
