Jamestown Driver Injured In One-Vehicle Accident

Charges are pending against a Jamestown man involved in one-vehicle accident on Saturday.  According to Trooper Toby Beaty’s preliminary incident report, around 10:30 Saturday night, 23-year-old Chase Evan Copley was driving a 2018 Honda HR-V west on Frank Campbell Road in Fentress County when the vehicle left the roadway and drove over a culvert.  The Honda then struck a mailbox and a telephone poll before rolling over and coming to a final rest in the roadway.  Mr. Copley was airlifted to UT Knoxville.  According to the report, Mr. Copley was not wearing a seatbelt.
