TN COVID-19 Data for Jan. 1 and Jan. 2, 2021

The total COVID-19 case count for Tennessee was 595,582 as of Friday, January 1, 2021 including (up 8,780 from Thursday) 6,955 deaths (up 48 from Thursday); 3,198 hospitalizations (down 20) and 516,009 inactive/recovered. Percent positive for Friday, January 1, 2020 was 21.66%.

The total COVID-19 case count for Tennessee is 604,132 as of Saturday, January 2, 2021 (up 8,550 from Friday) including 6,970 deaths (up 15 from Friday); 3,114 current hospitalizations (down 84 from Friday) and 523,089 are inactive/recovered. Percent positive for Saturday, January 02, 2021 was 21.63%.

On Saturday, January 02, 2021, Cumberland County reported 4,635 cases of COVID-19, up 237 from Thursday.  Active cases increased by 100 from Thursday to 736.  Deaths remained the same at 51 deaths and hospitalizations remained at 99.

Rhea County reports 49 COVID-19 deaths.

Roane County 57 reports 49 COVID-19 deaths.
