Record High 192 COVID-19 Deaths Reported Statewide; Cumberland County Deaths Rise To 79

A single-day record high 192 COVID-19 deaths were reported in Tennessee on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 and the state’s death toll has climbed to 9,162.  There were 1,979 new cases on Tuesday for a total of 712,406 positive cases.

Two more COVID-19 deaths were reported in Cumberland County on Tuesday, January 26, 2021, bringing the total number of deaths to 79.  Positive cases went up only by 3 to 5,570.  Active cases fell by 48 to 332.

Fentress County reports 36 COVID-19 deaths (up 1 from Monday).

Morgan County reports 17 COVID-19 deaths (up 1 from Monday).

Putnam County reports 153 COVID-19 deaths (up 1 from Monday).

Roane County reports 85 COVID-19 deaths (up 2 from Monday).

White County reports 50 COVID-19 deaths (up 1 from Monday).
