A Huntsville man was busted for drugs Wednesday morning after Crossville Police suspected his window tint was illegal. According to reports, 41-year-old John Robert Kelly was also not wearing his seatbelt and appeared very nervous. Instead of his driver’s license Mr. Kelly attempted to hand the officer a twenty dollar bill. A search of Mr. Kelly’s person revealed a 1.0 grams of a substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine. A suboxone pill, multiple syringes and legend drugs were found in the center console. Kelly was taken to jail for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Simple Possession of a Schedule III drug.
In a separate incident, a Crossville Woman wound up in jail following a stop for a suspected window tint violation. Crossville police pulled 48-year-old Roseanne Claire Hennessey around noon Wednesday and discovered she had an outstanding warrant for her arrest. She was transported to the Cumberland County Justice Center.
