The investigation into the disappearance of a Palmer, Tennessee man has resulted in the arrest of another man for murder. According to the TBI, last November the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office began investigating the disappearance of 48-year-old Scottie Dewayne Tate. His body was found several days later on a road in Grundy County.   Investigators developed information that identified 35-year-old Derrick Earl Anderson as the individual responsible for the death of Scottie Tate.  On Wednesday, February 4, 2021 investigators arrested Anderson and charged him with one count of First Degree Murder.
