CCHS closed out the District portion of their regular season schedule Tuesday night with a road trip to Pikeville. The Lady Jets finished District play with a perfect 8 and 0 record and locked up the top-seed in the District Tournament as they downed the Bledsoe County Lady Warriors 59-15. The Jets recorded a 72-64 road win over the Warriors. The Jets finish District play with a 6 and 2 record and they will be the two-seed in the District Tournament. CCHS is scheduled to closeout the regular season Friday (2/12) with home games against Clarkrange. The action tips at 6:00 and will air live on 102.5 WOW COUNTRY.
Stone Memorial stepped outside the District Tuesday traveling to Clarkrange. The Lady Panthers and Panthers picked up wins. SMHS taking the girls game 57-53 and the Panthers beat the Buffaloes 73-31. SMHS will play their final regular season District games on Friday (2/12) as they travel to White County. Mix 99.3 will have the broadcast of the games on Friday beginning at 5:55.
