(TDH/Cumb. Co. Mayor Allen Foster)
The Tennessee Department of Health reminds adults aged 70 and older they are now eligible to receive COVID-19 vaccination. TDH estimates there are about 300,000 Tennesseans in the 70-74 year age group, and only about one in three Tennesseans in this group have been vaccinated to date.
Cumberland County Mayor Allen Foster reminds everyone that COVID-19 vaccination and testing are both conducted at the Community Complex grounds on Livingston Road in Crossville. Vaccinations are held near the 3-way stop at Industrial Boulevard and Livingston Road, the side closest to Taco Bell. Testing is located closest to the Farmers Market side of the Complex grounds. Both COVID-19 vaccinations and tests are free. You do not need an appointment for the COVID-19 test. However, you MUST have an appointment for the vaccine. If you do not have an appointment for the vaccine you will be turned away.
