Only minor injuries were reported after a Rhea County school bus carrying children crashed in Spring City Thursday afternoon. It happened in the vicinity of Highway 68 and Cemetery Road. None of the children was transported to the hospital by EMS. Officials did not immediately release the cause of the crash, which is being investigated by the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
