The Stone Memorial High School Lady Panthers and the Cumberland County High School Lady Jets captured District Tournament Titles on Monday. The SMHS Lady Panthers posted a 52-46 win over the Lady Cavs at Cookeville High School to claim the District 6AAA Tournament Championship. The CCHS Lady Jets picked up their fourth straight District 7AA Tournament crown with a 45-26 home win over the Lady Indians from Sequatchie County. Both the Lady Panthers and Lady Jets will host first round games in their Region Tournaments.
Tuesday (2/23) at 6:00 at Grundy County High School the Cumberland County High School Jets take on the Yellow Jackets in the District 7AA Tournament Championship game. Coverage begins at 5:55 and all CCHS postseason action is on 102.5 WOW COUNTRY. Also, Tuesday (2/23) at 6:00 the Stone Memorial High School Panthers will host the Cookeville Cavaliers in the consolation game of the District 6AAA Tournament.
