Deputies with the Cumberland County Sherriff’s say that a home owner has reported their Springfield Hellcat 9 mm gun stolen from their gun safe. The victim reported someone entered their residence by a unknown method and went to their bedroom where the safe was located. The victim stated that the Springfield Hellcat was the only gun stolen and that the other weapons were inside the safe. The victim also stated that the key to the safe was sitting on top of the safe. The handgun will be entered into the National Crime Information Center as stolen. No forced entry was involved and there are no suspects named at this time.
