It has been more than a week since a North Carolina hiker went missing in the Pocket Wilderness area of Rhea County and the search continues. However, the Rhea County Sheriff’s Department no longer needs volunteers to assist in looking for Curtis Dustin Williams. A dog that was with Mr. Williams was found last week in Pikeville and authorities have been trying to trace the dog’s path.
