Sales tax revenue for the City of Crossville increased for the March collection period to just over $882,000, an increase of over $162,000 from the same period in 2020. For the year to date, the city has collected $8.6 million in sales tax. Collections for beer taxes are up as well with the city taking in $679,000 for the fiscal year. Liquor income increase by over $100,000 over last year, collections for the year to date are at $578,000. Hotel occupancy is starting to see an uptick, with local occupancy taxes seeing an increase over previous periods for the first time since February 2020.
