The Crossville City Council met in work session Tuesday evening. The agenda items included discussion on a secondary location for a potential indoor recreation facility. Earlier this year, the council purchased property located between Iris Lane and Webb Avenue as a possible site for the facility. Council Member Scott Shanks felt the facility should be located in a more visible location and the Iris Lane property should be held as a back-up plan. The council is considering property near and around the former location of the Ford dealership on Main Street. The matter was placed on the agenda for the July 13th meeting.
