3-Year-Old Boy Dies After Falling From Boat At Tellico Lake Friday

The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is investigating the death of a 3-year-old boy who fell off a boat into Tellico Lake on Friday.  As two Madisonville adults were preparing to anchor the boat one realized the child was missing.  The boy was found unresponsive in five feet of water.  He did not have on a lifejacket.  The child was transported to Sweetwater Hospital where he later died.  This is the 15^th boating related fatality in Tennessee this year.
