According to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office a Crossville resident stated they saw a home listed on LSN for Rent to Own. The victim called about the home and went to look at it at 545 Randolph Road. The victim bought the home and paid $10,000 cash. The victim also spent at least $5,000 in material and labor in the home and two payments of $425.00 were paid to the supposed owner. When the victim went to the water department to turn the water to the house they found out the house was not owned by the seller. The victim is out over $15,0000.
