Region play kicked off Friday night for the SMHS Panthers and the CCHS Jets.
Stone Memorial took on the Livingston Academy Wildcats in a game played at Tennessee Tech. The Panthers picked up the win as they rolled to a 49-12 victory.
Cumberland County played host to the state-ranked Bees from Upperman High School. The road team recorded a 41-7 win.
Friday, September 10th both CCHS and SMHS will be in action at home. The Jets entertain the squad from Lenoir City and the Panthers will host the Monterey Wildcats. CCHS games air live on 102.5 WOW COUNTRY and the Panthers are on Mix 99.3.
