The Tennessee Department of Corrections is morning the loss of one of its officers. TDOC says Cpl. Thomas “Warren” Watson, who worked at the Bledsoe County prison, lost his battle with COVID-19 on September 26, 2021. He is survived by his wife and three children. A GoFundMe account has been set up to assist Cpl. Watson’s family.
According to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund Covid-19 is now the leading cause of death for officers nationwide.
