Cumberland County tipped off District play Friday night as the Lady Jets and Jets played host to the teams from Macon County. The home teams recorded a couple of big wins as the Lady Jets cruised past the Tigerettes 64-18 and the Jets outscored the Tigers 80-51.
Stone Memorial traveled to DeKalb County Friday night as they began District play. The Lady Panthers posted a 67-54 road win. In the final game of the night, the Panthers fell to the Tigers 67-58.
Tuesday, December 14th, District action continues as SMHS will host CCHS. The Lady Panthers game with the Lady Jets is set to tip at 6:00 and will be followed by the Jets game with the Panthers. SMHS coverage airs live on Mix 99.3 and CCHS coverage is on 102.5 WOW COUNTRY.
