Wannyn Homicide Trial Starts Tuesday

The trial of a White County man accused in the stabbing death of a Cumberland County man is set to begin Tuesday, the Crossville Chronicle reports.  Billy Joe Wannyn, 50, of Sparta, is charged with the first-degree murder, felony murder and armed robbery of 71-year-old Albin Von Buechel, whose body was discovered stabbed to death in January 2018 at his Pleasant Hill home.  Jury section begins Tuesday and four days have been set aside for the trial.
