Tuesday night Stone Memorial High School played host to Cumberland County High School as the teams met in District 7-AAA games. Game one saw the road team, the CCHS Lady Jets, post a win, 60-46. The Lady Jets improve to 2 and 0 in District play while the Lady Panthers fall to 1 and 1. In the final game of the night the Panthers rolled to a 70-48 victory over the Jets. Both teams are now 1 and 1 in District action.
The next District games for SMHS are scheduled for Tuesday, January 4th as the teams travel to White County. CCHS will play their next District games on Friday, January 7th as they are on the road at Livingston Academy.
