In games aired live on Mix 99.3 Tuesday evening, the Stone Memorial basketball teams traveled to Sparta for District games at White County High School. The squads split their two games. The Lady Panthers dropped a 58-40 decision to the Warriorettes and the Panthers posted a 61-58 victory over the Warriors.
Cumberland County stepped outside the District and played host to Clarkrange on Tuesday. The home teams recorded a pair of wins. The Lady Jets downed Clarkrange 45-34 and the Jets beat the Buffaloes 76-43.
Friday, January 7th, it’s District action for SMHS and CCHS. In games airing on Mix 99.3 Stone Memorial plays host to Upperman and Cumberland County travels to Livingston Academy, that action is on 102.5 WOW COUNTRY.
