Following road games at Macon County on Friday, the Cumberland County High School Jets and Lady Jets traveled to Livingston Academy Saturday night for more District action. The road teams picked up two hard fought wins. The Lady Jets handed the Lady Wildcats, ranked second in the state this week, their first District loss of the season with a 58-44 win. The Jets battled the Wildcats and recorded a 52-49 victory.
Next up, Stone Memorial plays at Cumberland County High School on Tuesday, January 25th. The Lady Panthers and Lady Jets take the court at 6:00 with the Panthers game with the Jets to follow.
