Two of three inmates who escaped from the Sullivan County Jail on Friday died after crashing a stolen car in Brunswick County, North Carolina. Fugitives Tobias Carr, 38, and Timothy Sarver, 45, were being pursued by police after they allegedly robbed a convenience store at gunpoint in Sneads Ferry, North Carolina early Saturday morning. The clerk reportedly told police the robbers tied him up, emptied the cash register and fled in his car. The third escapee, 50-year-old Johnny Shane Brown, remained on the run Tuesday. A $7,500 reward has been offered for information leading to Brown’s capture. Anyone with information concerning his whereabouts is asked to call 1-800-TBI-FIND.
