The Roane County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the deaths of a man and woman found deceased Monday morning at 662 Buck Creek Road in East Roane County. The victims have been identified as Steve Groover, 67, and Cindy Scruggs, 62. The Sheriff’s Office is treating it as a double homicide and the bodies have been sent to Knoxville for autopsy.
