Juvenile Rescued After Falling 100ft At Fall Creek Falls

Multiple agencies responded to Fall Creek Falls on Saturday after a juvenile fell on the Cable Trail. The Piney Volunteer Fire Department reports that a young male was found at the bottom of the trail after he fell and rolled down the rocky descent approximately 100ft.  Park Rangers initiated medical care and put the patient on a backboard. With the assistance of the Dunlap, Spencer and Fall Creek Fall Fire Departments, the youth was lifted out of the area in a Stokes basket.  He was then carried to the awaiting ambulance.
