Update: Morgan County Murder Suspect Caught In Illinois

Update: Christopher Falls was captured in Illinois Thursday afternoon (July 21, 2022) in Illinois.

Authorities are searching for a man charged with the murder of a Morgan County Woman. The body of Julia Manning was discovered by a friend at her home located in the Lancing area of Morgan County on Thursday, July 7, 2022. The friend was checking on Manning because she had not been seen or heard from in at least ten days to two weeks.

Authorities are now looking for Manning’s live in boyfriend, 41-year-old Christopher Strater Falls.  Falls has been charged with the second degree murder of Manning.

Falls is a 150 pound white male, 5’6” tall,  with brown hair and green eyes. He is considered armed and dangerous.

Christopher Falls has family connections in Morgan County, but also in the state of Kansas.
