Child Reportedly Held Hostage In Soddy-Daisy Rescued Sunday Night, Man Arrested

A child who was reportedly held hostage in Soddy-Daisy was rescued Sunday night and one man has been arrested.  Police responded to a domestic violence report involving a child hostage at a home on the 9000 block of West Ridge Trail Road. Deputies made entry into the home and  took 52-year-old Christopher Middleton into custody. He is charged with aggravated burglary, simple assault, domestic assault, especially aggravated kidnapping, aggravated child endangerment, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
