Tansi Man Arrested After Allegedly Ramming Vehicle At Genesis Road Travel Plaza

The Crossville Police Department reports the arrest of a Lake Tansi man after he allegedly rammed a vehicle in the parking lot of a Genesis Road Travel Plaza.  It happened around 9pm Saturday, September 17, 2022. Police say 27-year-old Lucas McKinley Johnson found the victim’s vehicle in the parking lot and rammed the driver side, pinning the victim in his vehicle.  Mr. Johnson then exited his vehicle and struck the victim’s driver side window with a baseball bat, breaking the window.  Johnson reportedly returned to his vehicle, backed up and rammed the victim’s vehicle once again before fleeing the scene. Lake Tansi Security and Cumberland County Deputies located Mr. Johnson’s vehicle at at his address and Mr. Johnson was later found at another address in Lake Tansi.  Mr. Johnson was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, vandalism and leaving the scene of an accident.

Crossville Police have filed another Arrest Report on Lucas McKinley Johnson regarding an alleged incident between Mr. Johnson and the same victim that occurred Sunday, September 18, 2022 behind Tractor Supply Company.  The report states that County officers pulled over Mr. Johnson’s vehicle on Lantana Road and a loaded shotgun and ammunition were seized from Mr. Johnson’s vehicle.
