Honey Alexander, the wife of former Tennessee Governor and Senator Lamar Alexander, died Saturday at her home outside Maryville, Tennessee She was 77. She served as Tennessee’s First Lady from 1979 to 1987 and she and her husband were married for 53 years. The family plans a private graveside service and a memorial service will be held later at Christ Church Cathedral in Nashville.
