The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office is welcoming Donald C. Busching. Officer Busching comes from New York where he retired and moved to Crossville a few months ago. He served 12 years in the US Army total. He served 6 years straight out of high school and was honorably discharged. He had a 17 year break in service where he worked in the private sector. When 911 occurred, he re-enlisted and served another 6 years. Bushing was the Assistant Team Leader to a long range surveillance sniper team while deployed in Iraq. He resides in Cumberland County with his wife, Joanne. He loves the mountains and looks forward to serving the citizens of Cumberland County as a Correction Officer and hopefully in the future as a Patrol Officer. (Photo courtesy CCSO)
