Rob Harrison, who lost his bid to retain his seat on the Crossville City Council, was appointed to fill the remainder of Mayor RJ Crawford’s council position. Harrison received three votes while Rick Myers, former Crossville Fire Department firefighter, received one vote. Harrison was also appointed to continue to serve on the Crossville Regional Planning Commission. In other appointments the council re-appointed City Judge Ivy Gardner Mayberry and delayed action on electing a Mayor Pro Tem. Mayor RJ Crawford announced his appointments to the Cumberland Plateau Water Authority. Mayor Crawford appointed Greg Tabor to the first four-year term, Kevin Chamberlain to a three-year term and Jeff Frietag will serve for two years.
